Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and neuromorphic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and top-tier universities
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies in AI ethics and biotech
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough innovations in decentralized systems
- Mentor junior researchers in speculative design and technology forecasting
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching transformative technologies (3+ products)
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, neural networks, and blockchain architectures
- Published research in Nature or Science (2020-2023 preferred)
- Experience securing $10M+ in government innovation grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
