Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology journals
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across global teams
