Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive research initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop predictive models and scenario analyses for AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and Web3 evolution
- Create strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Present future-focused insights to executive stakeholders and cross-functional innovation teams
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of technology experts, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Champion innovation culture through internal workshops and thought leadership initiatives
- Monitor global tech patents, venture capital trends, and academic breakthroughs to identify opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting market impacts for at least two major tech paradigm shifts
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or blockchain with demonstrable thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Experience building future-focused technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning tools and predictive analytics methodologies
