Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal and market projections
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in AI ethics, quantum security, and neurotech integration
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire breakthrough startups
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Author white papers on emerging tech paradigms for industry conferences
- Manage a $5M+ annual innovation budget with measurable ROI targets
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers and data scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurist Studies with 10+ years applied research
- Published author in Nature/Science or equivalent tier tech publications
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AGI alignment, or synthetic biology
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transition strategies
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year tech predictions
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain government-level clearance
