Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends and market disruption signals
- Design and lead innovation sprints with engineering teams
- Produce white papers and thought leadership content
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and tech strategists
- Represent company at global tech conferences
- Develop 3-year technology adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling for tech investments
- Published research or patents in tech innovation
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean startup principles
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
