Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market demands and regulatory landscapes
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and generative AI systems
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial solutions
- Develop patent portfolios and publish thought leadership in IEEE and ACM journals
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in rapid prototyping and technology validation
- Represent NextGen at global tech summits (CES, Web Summit, Davos Tech Pioneers)
Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 8+ years in emerging tech
- Proven expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, AGI safety, or bio-integrated tech
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent industry whitepapers
- Experience leading $10M+ R&D budgets with measurable ROI
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights, and global tech governance
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable tech implementations solving 2026-era challenges
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex technology intersections
