Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, bio-digital) and map their 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic blueprints for next-gen digital infrastructure and product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present visionary roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Build and maintain relationships with academic research labs and venture capital partners
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 2020+ roadmap execution
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published tech foresight work or patented innovations
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and research institutions
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
