Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology foresight roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging trends (quantum, AGI, biotech, climate tech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions
- Advise executive team on technology investment priorities
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA for research collaboration
- Present strategic briefings to board and investors
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (e.g., blockchain, metaverse)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping
- Presentation skills for executive audiences (Fortune 500 experience preferred)
- Certifications in Futures Studies or Technology Forecasting a plus
