Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) that will shape 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with actionable implementation plans
- Build and maintain relationships with technology innovators and research institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of successfully launching futuristic technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or biotechnology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive decision-making
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CEM) preferred
- Experience developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps for enterprise environments
