Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 global innovation trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers for joint R&D initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor technical teams in future-proof architecture and ethical implementation
- Secure government grants and venture capital for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from public/private sources
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
