Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology impact assessments for healthcare, finance, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders using AI-driven trend analysis
- Author quarterly 'Future State' reports distributed to CIOs and innovation directors
- Design cross-industry technology roadmaps for 5-10 year strategic planning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Silicon Valley lab
- Present at global tech summits including CES and Web Summit
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of delivering executive-level trend analysis reports
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong network with tech VCs, academic research institutions, and policy makers
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell's Two Uncertainties)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization portfolio
