- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision, aligning AI, IoT, and biotechnology convergence with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and next-gen infrastructure
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype 2026-centric solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board members with compelling data narratives
- Establish industry partnerships with quantum computing and AI research institutions
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Futurology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 2026+ horizon planning experience
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips)
- Published thought leadership in future technology scenarios (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical modeling skills using scenario planning and predictive analytics tools
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants for forward-looking projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
