Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Horizon Reports analyzing AI, quantum computing, biotech, and spatial computing trajectories
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into actionable business roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.) and tech pioneers
- Design and execute innovation incubators for breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in exponential technology domains
- Represent the company at global forums (World Economic Forum, CES Future) as a thought leader
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and technologists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with proven impact on future roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications (Nature, TechCrunch, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption analysis frameworks
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or policy impact
- Global network of connections in technology innovation ecosystems
