Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and emerging scientific breakthroughs

- Identify and integrate disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips) into production pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Drive patent development for breakthrough innovations with projected 2026 commercialization
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in launching technologies with 5+ year market impact (e.g., 2018 AI deployments)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE) on future-facing technologies
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two commercialized technologies from concept to market
