Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology foresight strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging trends across quantum computing, AR/VR, and synthetic biology to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-proof product roadmaps
- Produce quarterly trend reports for executive stakeholders and investor briefings
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and innovation accelerators for early R&D
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems integration
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation scouting network
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism research
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, biotech, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating past futurist initiatives with measurable impact
