Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with measurable milestones
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and sustainable AI
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Secure partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other innovation hubs
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $15M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor next-gen engineers in future-facing disciplines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics with 10+ years' experience
- Proven track record of shipping category-defining tech products
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-AI, etc.)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Experience securing $10M+ in venture funding or corporate grants
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
