Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across 5 key sectors
- Analyze emerging trends (quantum AI, bio-integration, neural networks) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align future-vision priorities
- Author quarterly foresight reports with predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Manage $2M innovation budget for prototyping 2026-concept technologies
- Partner with policy advisors to shape regulatory frameworks for next-gen systems
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or technology roadmapping
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year predictive frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Shell Foresight, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech (IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in predictive modeling software (AnyLogic, Stella Architect)
- Experience with federal innovation grant processes (SBIR, DARPA)
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
