This position reports directly to our Chief Ethics Officer and includes executive-level exposure to our board of directors. You'll collaborate with teams from engineering, legal, and product development to ensure our AI systems align with evolving regulatory landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory standards
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for advanced AI systems including generative models
- Lead cross-functional working groups to establish governance protocols for AI deployment
- Represent the company at international AI ethics forums and regulatory hearings
- Design audit mechanisms for algorithmic bias and transparency
- Create educational materials for internal teams on responsible AI practices
- Advise on policy development for emerging AI technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, compliance, or ethics
- Expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Proven track record of developing institutional ethics policies
- Deep understanding of machine learning model architectures
- Experience with bias detection and mitigation techniques
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work in AI ethics or related journals
