Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in healthcare and finance sectors
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments using advanced ML interpretability tools
- Lead stakeholder dialogues with regulators, ethics boards, and community representatives
- Create compliance roadmaps for evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, state-level AI bills)
- Design and deliver AI ethics training programs for technical and non-technical teams
- Monitor emerging AI risks and publish quarterly ethics impact reports
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical-by-design principles in AI development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (NIST, EU AI Act, OECD principles)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Experience with regulatory reporting for high-stakes AI applications
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical ethics concepts
