Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive ethical frameworks for AI systems deployed by 2026, addressing bias mitigation, transparency, and accountability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical roadmaps with regulatory requirements and societal expectations
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Design stakeholder engagement strategies for public-private partnerships in ethical tech adoption
- Author thought leadership reports on the societal impact of AI advancements and publish in industry journals
- Oversee implementation of responsible AI principles across product development lifecycle
- Represent the company at global tech ethics summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record in developing ethical AI frameworks for large-scale deployments
- Deep understanding of global tech regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and futures research techniques
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or technology philosophy preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on ethical tech initiatives or policy development
- Familiarity with emerging tech domains: generative AI, autonomous systems, biotech convergence
