Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide AI ethics frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST guidelines, and emerging standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance
- Develop stakeholder engagement strategies with policymakers, academia, and industry coalitions
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI deployment and monitor system performance through continuous monitoring tools
- Represent the company at global AI governance forums and contribute to industry standards development
- Mentor ethics officers across 15 R&D centers worldwide
- Drive incident response protocols for AI-related ethical breaches
Qualifications
- 15+ years in AI/ML with 5+ years in governance, ethics, or compliance leadership
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Published research in AI ethics or equivalent peer-reviewed contributions
- Experience with enterprise-scale AI deployment in regulated industries
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM) or equivalent
- Proven track record of influencing AI policy at multinational organizations
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
