Responsibilities
- Design and implement cross-functional AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and emerging 2026 regulations
- Lead audits of ML models for bias, fairness, and explainability using advanced interpretability tools
- Develop corporate AI ethics policy and training programs for 5,000+ employees globally
- Represent the company at international AI ethics summits and regulatory consultations
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI deployment across 12 product lines
- Collaborate with legal teams to navigate evolving AI liability landscapes
- Mentor junior ethicists and foster an organization-wide ethical AI culture
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing ethics frameworks in Fortune 500 tech companies
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, EU AI Act Auditor)
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies on AI policy
- Strong command of technical AI concepts (transformers, reinforcement learning) without being a developer
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin preferred for global stakeholder engagement
