Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST guidelines, and emerging standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for high-impact AI systems using advanced statistical methods
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for ethical AI decision-making across product development lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees to resolve complex dilemmas in autonomous systems and generative AI
- Create audit trails and transparency reports for AI model training data and decision processes
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product roadmaps and corporate strategy sessions
- Monitor global regulatory developments and adapt governance protocols proactively
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or related field with specialization in AI ethics
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or responsible AI development
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ACM Code of Ethics)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools and fairness metrics (Aequitas, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Experience with regulatory environments in tech industries (GDPR, CCPA, sector-specific regulations)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published research or industry contributions to AI ethics discourse preferred
