Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE, EU AI Act, and NIST guidelines
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for ML models before deployment
- Create transparency protocols for AI decision-making processes
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
- Establish stakeholder engagement strategies for diverse community input
- Monitor emerging regulations and update compliance protocols quarterly
- Lead incident response for ethical breaches in AI systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Expertise in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, GDPR, state-level laws)
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management
- Published research or certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification)
- Strong analytical skills with quantitative/qualitative research background
