Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum computing
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments across ML pipelines and neural networks
- Partner with product teams to integrate ethical considerations into design sprints
- Establish compliance protocols for emerging regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Present ethical risk assessments to executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI development practices
- Conduct industry research on AI ethics trends and publish white papers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or ML governance roles
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, NIST AI RMF)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Published research in top-tier ethics or AI conferences
- Strong stakeholder management with executive and technical audiences
- Knowledge of quantum computing ethical implications (bonus)
