Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and governance policies for autonomous systems deployed in healthcare and finance
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on emerging AI risks and societal impacts through collaboration with MIT and Stanford research labs
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption before congressional committees and international regulatory bodies
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives including workshops with Fortune 500 CTOs and human rights organizations
- Design audit protocols for algorithmic fairness and bias mitigation in large-scale ML deployments
- Author thought leadership publications on AI ethics for Nature and IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI governance experience
- Proven track record developing regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems or high-stakes AI applications
- Expertise in international AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and cross-border compliance
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI techniques in top-tier journals
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies or advising governmental AI task forces
- Proficiency in conducting ethics impact assessments for ML models using established frameworks
- Strong network connections with ACM Ethics Committee or Partnership on AI leadership
