Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered climate modeling frameworks predicting 2026 environmental scenarios
- Develop corporate decarbonization strategies using machine learning optimization
- Lead R&D for circular economy AI systems (IoT + blockchain integration)
- Advocate sustainable tech policies at international climate summits
- Mentor cross-functional teams in ethical AI deployment for environmental impact
- Quantify carbon reduction ROI for Fortune 500 sustainability portfolios
- Partner with NASA/NOAA on climate data fusion projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Climate Science, AI, or Environmental Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record deploying enterprise AI solutions for sustainability (e.g., carbon accounting platforms)
- Deep expertise in predictive modeling for climate systems and resource allocation
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI-climate intersection (2019-2023)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and climate modeling tools (ClimaX, Earth System Framework)
- Experience securing $10M+ climate tech grants from NSF/DOE
- UNFCCC or IPCC accreditation preferred
