Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen AI systems and quantum applications
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ tech adoption across Fortune 500 partners
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Secure $50M+ in federal grants for emerging tech research
- Present breakthrough concepts at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor researchers in AI ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on 5-year tech horizon studies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in AI/quantum R&D with 3+ breakthrough patents
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations to enterprise level
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- Expertise in federated learning, neuromorphic computing, and carbon-negative AI
- Published author in Nature/Science with 50+ citations
- Experience securing federal DARPA/NSF grants ($10M+)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
