As a cornerstone of our Future Tech Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, government agencies, and Fortune 500 partners to develop breakthrough frameworks for autonomous systems, climate modeling, and human-AI symbiosis. Your work will directly influence global tech policy and commercial applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for AI integration across critical infrastructure sectors
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and neurosymbolic AI
- Produce white papers and policy recommendations for federal tech governance boards
- Design ethical frameworks for superintelligent system deployment
- Coordinate international consortiums on AI safety and alignment protocols
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging AI paradigms through our Future Leaders Program
- Secure multimillion-dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI with 8+ years in advanced research environments
- Published work in Nature/Science on quantum computing or neural network architectures
- Proven track record of securing $5M+ in government research funding
- Expertise in simulating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global regulatory landscapes
- Experience with federated learning frameworks for sensitive data ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of theoretical AI concepts
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and Cirq
