Responsibilities
- Develop and execute AI-powered sustainability strategies aligned with UN SDGs and corporate ESG targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing scalable carbon-neutral technology solutions
- Analyze climate data using machine learning to predict environmental impacts and identify innovation opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with sustainability tech startups and research institutions
- Present sustainable tech roadmaps to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Drive implementation of circular economy principles in product development lifecycle
- Mentor junior sustainability engineers and AI specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, AI/ML, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in AI/ML with proven track record in sustainability applications
- Expertise in carbon footprint analysis, life cycle assessment, and circular economy frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Published research or patents in sustainable AI or climate technology
- Strong understanding of global sustainability regulations (ESG reporting, CSRD, SEC climate rules)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
