Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Study blueprints and technical diagrams to understand wiring layouts and project specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on electrical equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate power tools and test equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state licensure upon completion of apprenticeship.
- Strong desire to learn and a good work ethic.
