Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to ensure safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment before starting jobs.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress and expectations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to obtain an Electrician’s License through our training program.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
