Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes at all times.
- Equipment Handling: Properly use and handle power tools, testing meters, and hand tools under supervision.
- Wiring & Installation: Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture installation as training progresses.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients and provide updates on project status.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary. A strong willingness to learn and a background in manual labor are highly preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including occasional overtime.
