Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial wiring projects and installations.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic tasks such as mounting outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and advance professionally.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
