Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects of all sizes.
- Install Components: Properly install wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere strictly to local and national electrical codes, OSHA safety regulations, and company policies.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Tool Usage: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment correctly and efficiently.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional service to residential and commercial clients as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required for travel to job sites).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: Strong desire to learn the trade with a positive, hardworking attitude.
- Skills: Basic reading comprehension and fundamental math skills are helpful.
- Background: Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
