Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine tasks such as pulling wire, mounting outlets, and installing lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to understand project specifications.
- Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Utilize hand and power tools correctly to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and load calculations.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and locations.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain a Journeyman Electrician license.
