Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Learn the ropes by supporting experienced team members with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Develop the skills necessary to understand technical drawings and schematics to guide your work.
- Wiring and Installation: Perform tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and installing outlets, fixtures, and panels under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly use, maintain, and clean hand tools and power equipment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explaining project progress and maintaining a clean work site.
- Travel: Occasionally travel to various job sites within the Oklahoma City metro area.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations.
- Driver’s License: A valid, clean driver’s license is required for site access.
- Problem Solving: A proactive attitude toward troubleshooting and learning new techniques.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is mandatory.
