Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems under expert supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing materials efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep all tools and equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
- Wiring and Connections: Perform basic wiring tasks, connect circuits, and secure fixtures according to blueprints.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions regarding work, and keep work areas tidy.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required for travel to various job sites.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: Strong desire to learn a trade and a problem-solving mindset.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to understand technical instructions and report progress.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including occasional overtime.
