Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Install conduit, wiring, and electrical components according to local and national electrical codes.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues under the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights (when necessary).
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a professional attitude toward work.
