Responsibilities
- Install & Repair: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Tucson city codes.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan project layouts accurately.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to restore power and functionality safely.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical details in clear, non-technical language.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, strictly following OSHA safety regulations.
- Equipment Management: Properly handle, inspect, and maintain electrical tools, meters, and test equipment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (State of Arizona).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Driver’s License: Valid AZ Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Personal set of hand tools is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
