Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Prepare work areas, set up ladders and scaffolding, and ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of a certified electrician.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the team and report progress on assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical stamina required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- No previous electrical experience is necessary; we provide the training.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
