Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local San Diego regulations.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, fixture installations, and troubleshooting under strict supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Complete required paperwork, timecards, and progress reports accurately.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
