Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout measurements and structural support
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform concrete work, form installation, and finishing
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
