Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and outlets.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment from delivery vehicles and job sites.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic electrical testing using multimeters, voltage testers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) are required.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy tools and materials (up to 50 lbs).
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn the electrical trade are essential.
