Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications with precision
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical equipment
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver installations on aggressive weekend timelines
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and maintain detailed documentation
- Mentor junior electricians during shift rotations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman License (or reciprocal state license)
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor controls, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting 480V+ systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for occasional overtime during critical project phases
