Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including conduit bending, wiring, fixture installation, and termination.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure they function efficiently and meet code requirements.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to obtain a state-issued Electrical Apprenticeship license.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Physical stamina required to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
