Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with various electrical installation and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required apprenticeship certification (on-the-job training provided).
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- No prior experience required, but a strong interest in the electrical trade is essential.
