Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings under supervision.
- Perform routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning up after job sites.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward safety protocols.
- Basic math skills are a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
