As a Plumber Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced journeyman plumbers, gaining hands-on experience with residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic pipefitting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials, moving debris, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Respond to service calls and assist in diagnosing plumbing issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to complete a state-approved apprenticeship program.
- Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in the plumbing trade.
- No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
