Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites and return them to the shop.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic pipefitting, cutting, threading, and joining of copper, PVC, and steel pipes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to diagnose minor plumbing issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, measurements).
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- No prior plumbing experience is required; we train!
